Grand MicroDoodle

Using a very tiny tech pen (Rapidograph .13) I draw very tiny words and doodles on a phosphorescent blue painted canvas. Kind of a doodle cloud. This is about 50 hours of work. Neodymium magnets are then embedded in the wood frame of the thick frame to allow it to be mounted on a metal surface. Size 30"x 15"x 2.5"

About Me

My photo
MagnetDude
My name is Jeffery Gauss. I grew up in Madison, Wisconsin. My background was in sales, but I received a degree in graphic design in 1993. I've been creating my art for 13 years now! I began to create my kind magnetic art in 1996 and so far have signed and numbered over 30,000 pieces! They sell for $8 on up. I use vinyl magnet sheets and decorate them with foil, stones, crystals, found objects, paper, acrylic paints and mediums! If you look up my last name "GAUSS" in the dictionary, it means unit of magnetic induction. Karl Friedrich Gauss (1777–1855), a German mathematician, is a distant cousin of mine. It is fate that I was drawn to magnets for my media! I've seen others begin to use the magnetic media and I believe in the next decade it will become more popular as an art media. I am also trying to build my business on line. I'm starting to teach workshops this fall and want everybody to learn to use the magnetic media! STOP, BUY, & SAY HI! Magnetically Yours, Jeffery Gauss (952)939-4150 HouseofGauss.com
